SCR Compliance Test
The SCR Compliance Test is the Premier League's in-season check of a club's projected Squad Cost Ratio, run on 1 March so that it captures the January transfer window.

This is the forward-looking test. Rather than waiting for audited accounts, it assesses a club's projected squad cost against projected adjusted football revenue for the season in progress.
Its timing is deliberate. Falling on 1 March, it picks up everything a club did in the January window, so signings made in January are already in the numerator when the test runs.
It sits alongside the post-season Accounts Confirmation Test, which checks the same season again on audited figures. The Championship's equivalent in-season checkpoints are its mid-season submission on 1 November and its pre-season submission on 30 April.
