Revenue is REPORTED: turnover of £10,195,207 for the year ended 30 June 2025 (2024: £9,027,930), from note 4 of the audited AFCW PLC group accounts signed 14 November 2025, the latest filed accounts. These are LEAGUE TWO-basis accounts: 2024/25 was Wimbledon's promotion season from League Two via the play-off final, so the revenue base predates their League One income; the 2025/26 League One accounts are not yet filed. Wage bill is ESTIMATED and COMPOSED, not reported. The accounts disclose only aggregate group staff costs of £5,776,523 across an average 144 employees, a figure that sweeps in everything SCMP excludes. The headcount note splits those 144 as 61 football staff (including scholars and development squad), 36 academy, 32 administration and 15 bar/part-time. SCMP counts first-team player wages only, so academy, admin, bar and non-playing football staff must come out. Applying an INFERRED ~55% playing share to the £5.78m total gives ~£3.2m; that share is our assumption and is the weakest link in this row, as no source discloses the split. It is cross-checked against SalarySport's independent first-team estimate of £3,216,200, which lands within 0.5% — corroboration rather than confirmation, since SalarySport is itself an estimate. Ratio of 0.31 leaves substantial headroom. Two caveats pull in opposite directions: the wage figure is League Two-era while the club has since invested in the squad for League One, so the 2025/26 ratio will be higher; offsetting that, the directors describe the 2025/26 playing budget as one of the lowest in the division and the Dons Trust ranks it 23rd of 24. The group posted a 2024/25 loss after tax of £2,798,391. Fan-owned via the Dons Trust with no wealthy benefactor, so the 50p-per-£1 owner equity credit is of limited practical use. Revisit when the 2025/26 League One accounts are filed, expected around November 2026.
